Information used and why

Sharing and network activity

Force USD has no developer-operated collection endpoint, analytics SDK, advertising, affiliate tracking, or sale of data. It does not send browsing URLs, cookie values, page content, or status records to the publisher.

Google receives preferences when Chrome sync is active. Applying a preference can reload a page or activate a site's own controls, so the website you are visiting receives the resulting ordinary requests and preference cookies under its own privacy policy. Those requests may include the existing search parameters and cookies your browser would normally send to that site. The extension does not add advertising identifiers or affiliate codes. These actions are restricted to HTTPS browsing pages.

The extension uses packaged code and assets. It does not download or execute remote code. If you open a publicly hosted copy of this policy or contact the publisher, the hosting or email service receives the information needed to serve that page or deliver your message. The public privacy/support pages are hosted using OpenAI Sites, whose hosting infrastructure may process ordinary request metadata such as your IP address, user agent, and access time. Those are separate, user-initiated interactions.

Retention and control

Your saved display choices remain until you change or clear them. Consent stays in this installation until withdrawn or the extension is removed. Temporary session records clear when the browser session ends, the extension reloads or is disabled, or you clear data. Per-tab records are removed when that tab closes. The 15-second retry window controls eligibility for another correction; it is not a claim that records are physically erased after 15 seconds.

The main switch stops further preference changes. “Leave language unchanged” stops language enforcement. Neither option restores previous website preferences. Use the controls below to withdraw consent or clear extension data. Clearing synced choices requests their removal through Chrome sync; Google's browser settings govern synchronization. Website cookies and previously changed URLs remain until you change them on the site or clear that site's data in Chrome.

You can also restrict site access, disable the extension, or remove it through Chrome's Extensions settings. No publisher account or payment is required to use Force USD. The publisher cannot access or delete your local browser data remotely.

Permissions

Limited Use commitment

Force USD uses information obtained through Chrome and Google APIs only to provide its disclosed display-preference feature, in accordance with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. It does not sell user data, use it for advertising or credit decisions, or permit publisher access to your browsing data.

Contact and changes

For privacy or support questions, email nathan@coursenavigator.com. If you choose to send a support message, share only the details needed for your question; do not send passwords, payment information, or private booking links. The publisher will receive the message and any contact details you provide.

This policy will be updated when the extension's practices change. Material new uses of data will require updated disclosure and consent before taking effect.

To withdraw consent or clear extension data, open Force USD → Privacy & data controls in Chrome. These controls run inside your browser.
